Introduction
This policy explains how IntegraMed Pty Ltd, a medical device distributor based in Cannon Hill, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information. It applies to information we handle through this website and in our dealings with you.
We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). We take reasonable steps to ensure our staff and service providers are aware of our obligations under those laws.
What we collect
We only collect what we actually need. Through this website that means:
- the details you type into our contact form — your name, organisation, email address, phone number if you choose to give one, your area of interest, and your message;
- technical information that Cloudflare Turnstile uses to protect the form from spam and abuse, such as your IP address and browser information.
We do not run newsletters, analytics, tracking cookies or marketing lists on this site, so we do not collect information for those purposes.
How we use it
We use your personal information only to:
- respond to your enquiry;
- manage our business relationship with you, including distribution and supply discussions.
We do not send you marketing material without your consent, and we do not sell personal information to anyone.
Who we share it with
We disclose personal information only where we need to, and to a small number of parties:
- our service providers who help us run this website — hosting, database, email delivery and spam protection;
- our professional advisers, such as our accountant and legal adviser, where they need to see it to advise us;
- regulators or other authorities, where we are required or authorised by law to disclose it.
Website enquiry data is not shared with our product suppliers. If we ever wanted to share your details with someone else, we would ask you first.
Overseas disclosure
Some of the service providers above may store or process personal information outside Australia. In practice this is likely to be the United States, and other countries where Cloudflare's global network processes requests for spam protection.
Before we use a new provider that stores data overseas, we will take reasonable steps to satisfy ourselves that the provider will not breach the APPs, and we will tell you about the countries concerned in this policy.
Storage and security
Enquiries are stored securely in a database with access controls, so that only authorised people can read them. We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, then delete or de-identify it.
Access and correction
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it if you believe it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Email info@integramed.com.au and we will respond within 30 days. If we refuse your request, we will tell you why in writing.
Complaints
If you think we have mishandled your personal information, please tell us. Email info@integramed.com.au with the words "privacy complaint" in the subject line. We will acknowledge your complaint, investigate it, and give you a written response — usually within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can escalate your complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), the independent regulator for privacy in Australia.
Data breaches
In the unlikely event of an eligible data breach affecting your personal information, we will follow the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme: we will assess the incident, and where notification is required we will tell you and the OAIC as promptly as practicable, with advice about what you can do to protect yourself.
Changes to this policy
We review this policy periodically and update it when our practices change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last reviewed. Continued use of this website after an update means the updated policy applies to you.
